Teacher of Cheng Man Ch’ing’s Yang Form
Tai Chi Instruction
I have been studying martial arts for over 30 years after walking into my first karate school and never wanting to leave. I achieved a first-degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and a red belt in Hwa Rang Do. Then I moved to the softer art of T’ai Chi and have been practicing Cheng Man Ching’s 37 Posture form ever since. I’ve been hooked on t’ai chi for over 19 years and want to share the love. I’ve been teaching under the supervision of Bill Gallen in Santa Fe, New Mexico, since 2016.
I really appreciate how t’ai chi moves from gross movements to subtle ones and from physical movements to more energetic awareness. My areas of interest and expertise extend to Yang style t’ai chi, the spinal chi gung set, silk reeling, and a variety of additional Taoist practices. I also specialize in teaching beginners the basic principles of t’ai chi.
